1. The machine is designed as per the cGMP standards with more focus on its ability of handling powder dust. It has a main turn table to prevent the dust particles from interacting with the mechanical parts of machine.

Working Principle of Fully Automatic Capsule Filling Machine

The capsules in the material chamber will enter the capsule assembly perpendicularly when the machine starts to work. Then they are transferred to special cells in the rotor. Here the capsule is separated, then the lower part comes to the filling position. After the lower part is filled with material, the capsules that are not separated in the next positions are discarded, and the filled lower parts are combined with the upper parts, counted and taken to the intake box.

With slow capsule movement, the filling product is pressure-fed directly into the body by the auger. Various powder types, regardless of flowability or angle of repose, can be filled with high accuracy. The auger used for powder filling is removed, and granules are stirred as they are transferred to capsule bodies.

Operating Procedure of Fully Automatic Capsule Filling Machine

After starting up the machine, the empty capsules in hopper will be fed into the slot of magazine vertically. With each stroke of machine, the fingers of magazine will release one row of capsules into rectifier raceway. The horizontal fingers rectify the direction of capsules and vertical fingers push the capsules into hole of segment with all caps on the up position. The capsules in the holes are sent to each working station along with the intermittent rotation of the turn table.

• At the 1st& 2nd station, the vacuum system separates the capsules in position.
• At 3rd station, the lower segment with capsule body extends out ready for the filling.
• 4thstation uses to fill pellets.
• At the 5th station, the tamping pins push the pressed powder slug into capsule body.
• 6th station to re-joint cap & body segments.
• At 7th station non-separated capsule gets eject.
• At 8th station vertical pins pushing body of capsule into the cap for re-join and close the filled capsules.
• The 9th station is to eject the finished capsules.
• At the 10th station the holes of segments are cleaned by vacuum cleaner and compressed air. Then the segments are ready for next cycle of operation.

How Much Training Is Required To Operate The Automatic Capsule Filling Machine?

Operation

Before shipping the machine to your facilities, our sales team will set up a time to have our technician meet you and the machine at your location. Our technician will spend 2 days with you and your team. During this time they will set up and install the machine and then walk you and your team through the ins-and-out of the machine. At the end of the 2 day training, if you feel you need more time with our technician we would be happy to extend the time for you.

Switch off the machine according to this operating manual and secure it against accidental switching on.

Lock the main command devices and pull out the key and/or attach a warning sign to the main switch.

Guard off the working area generously.

Inform operating personnel and nominate a supervisor.
